4 Column 2 Axis Servo-hydraulic Test Machine

Application

Testing rubber suspension components for trains. This frame is fitted with a special dual-area actuator capable of applying high mean loads as well as higher frequency dynamic cycles at lower load.

• 4 column frame. Moveable upper crosshead. Variable daylight space 0 to 1420mm
• Fail-safe crosshead clamping by high capacity disc springs with hydraulic cylinders to unclamp
• Servo-hydraulic actuator for axial (vertical) loading mounted on upper crosshead
  • 500kN thrust compression for static and low frequency work
  • 80kN thrust tension and compression for high frequency

  • Integral displacement transducer
  • Load cell mounted on end of actuator rod
  • Side load support bearings on rod end with support brackets mounted to under side of crosshead
• Servo-hydraulic actuator for side (horizontal) loading application mounted to side of lower crosshead

  • Load cell mounted on end of actuator rod and connecting to side load part mounting table

• Automatic compensation for dynamic oscillating masses in both axes – automatically corrects for the inertial load of adaptors and end fittings by using feedback from axially-mounted accelerometers.
