Both dual & single station production test machines for production testing and setting of hydraulic pressure control valves.
An end of production line test rig for testing and setting up hydraulic pressure relief cartridge valves used in static, mobile and industrial applications. This hydraulic test bench was supplied complete with a hydraulic power supply and pipe work. The hydraulic power supply featured oil immersion heaters and forced air cooling to allow the temperature of the supply oil to controlled and varied on demand.
The test sequence for the cartridge valves was controlled and measurements taken using the Si-Plan Digital Servo Controller and Data Acquisition Unit. This featured programmed control and data recording of parameters such as:
- Oil Flow
- Test Pressure
- Hydraulic back pressure
- Pressure drop across valve
- Oil supply temperature
- Oil temperature in and out of valve
- Valve hydraulic leakage
- Solenoid current
- Monitoring of oil cleanliness
The system was an open hydraulic system which must not have any return line pressure, so filtration had to be achieved in the return line by a series of weirs and a stairs and in the supply line using conventional filtering.
This cartridge valve Product Acceptance Test machine (PAT rig) is a prime example of Si-Plans capability to engineer a purpose built bespoke test rig.
